0.7 Plans + Installer antics| SelectStudios

Hello Friends o/

After one of out staff members attempted to download AceRace we knowticed that the installer for the game would not work and would refuse to launch, this is obviously an issue for anyone who would've tried it, in light of this, until we can find an alternative we will be using zip files to store the game, this isn't ideal obviously we would much rater an installer, not only to save space but it also just looks nicer. 

But we beleve our soloution is already underway with the select studios launcher I'm not going to go into too much detail but it will allow all of our games to be in one place for all of your easy access!

We appologise for any inconvenice, if you do not know how to run the game from a zip file (first of all happy 70th birthday) there are instructions, simply right click the file and extract it to a new folder in your desktop (the folder can be called whatever). for more indepth detail you can visit the "Install instructions" on the main page.

Plans for 0.7?

0.7 is planned to be a huge update, it will contian updates that improve all the levels this will improve all aspects of playability so you can enjoy longer more interesting levels to play. I plan on adding things like jump pads, speed blocks, teloporting areas and even more

0.7 will also fix many many bugs (finally). Such as the portal bottom lights flickering, (this was because we were not using differed rendering it caused many shadow / lighing bugs that really impacted how scenes looked)

0.7 will also see the improvement (not completion) of the grappling gun, due to its dodgy look when used, the gun itself doesn't rotate, we use danidevs (His youtube channel) public grapple gun script, we will also be adding his grapple rotation script adding a more normal look to the gun. 0.7 will see the introduction of the ungrappleable walls 

0.7 will see the addition of the Title Screen. its that simple lmao.

what other small things will be added?

• Timer on each level
• Setting menu
• MacOS build

WE WILL ALSO BE INCLUDING A COPY OF THE GAME FOR THOES WITH LESS POWERFUL PC's!
